Introduction

Ham Radio Deluxe (HRD) is a suite of Windows programs providing CAT control for commonly used transceivers and receivers. HRD also includes mapping and PSK31 software. Online help with sample screenshots is available here. Download information can be found here.

HRD is free for Radio Amateurs and Shortwave Listener (SWLs). Use by commercial organisations and government institutions requires a licence from Simon Brown, Postfach 159, 7031 Laax, Switzerland. HRD is owned by Simon Brown, HB9DRV.

Please do not send direct email to Simon Brown or HB9DRV - I am overloaded and cannot provide direct support for Ham Radio Deluxe. Instead use the forums and post in any language - it will be translated into English if needed.

Kits may be supplied by Amateur Radio manufacturers, dealers and distributors on the condition that the kits are provided free of charge.

And if you don't have one of the above radios available HRD comes with these Dem-O-Matic® radios: ORION, K2, TS-480, TS-570 and TS-2000. These are simulations of the real thing, ideal for presentations of HRD at local club meetings.

Kits may not be sold except where a charge is made for the distribution medium as long as the cost of each CD is not more than 10 euro or $10.

Neither Simon nor Peter is in favour of so-called Radio Amateurs selling poor-quality software at exorbitantly inflated prices.
